This 12-hour comprehensive antenatal course combines hypnobirthing techniques, relaxation, and mindfulness to ensure you’re both physically and mentally prepared for birth. Whether you’re expecting your first child or adding to your family, this course provides everything you need to feel empowered and ready for the journey ahead.

Our course covers all the essential topics from a standard antenatal class, with the added benefit of focusing on how the mind and body work together during labour and birth. By pairing this knowledge with practiced relaxation techniques and self-hypnosis, you’ll feel equipped to experience a positive and calm birth.

Comprehensive Birth Education

You’ll gain a deep understanding of the birth process, including how the body works during labour, what to expect, and how to manage the physical and emotional aspects of birth. This knowledge helps to build confidence and reduce fear.

Breathing Techniques

You will learn specific breathing techniques that can help you stay calm, manage contractions, and maintain focus during labour. These simple, effective practices can also help reduce pain and increase your sense of control.

Relaxation & Visual Exercises

Integral to hypnobirthing, you’ll learn how to relax deeply, release tension, and use positive visualisations to promote a calm and peaceful birth experience. These techniques are also great for reducing stress and anxiety during pregnancy.

Mindset & Emotional Preparation

You’ll be guided on how to approach birth with a positive mindset, focusing on confidence and self-belief. We’ll cover how to manage fear, address limiting beliefs, and reduce stress. This emotional preparation helps you stay grounded and calm, no matter what happens during labour.

Birth Partner Support


Partners play a crucial role in supporting you during birth. This course provides you with tools to involve your birth partner in the process, teaching them how to offer emotional and physical support. They’ll learn how to help you stay relaxed, advocate for your birth preferences, and stay present throughout the experience.

Practical Birth Tools


You’ll learn practical tools and techniques to use during labour, including positions to help with comfort and progress, as well as ways to stay relaxed and in control. We also cover pain-relief options, helping you make informed decisions about the birth experience you want.

Antenatal + Hypnobirthing Group Classes with Hannah & Vickie

In-person small group courses held at Voisin, Heswall. Sessions are 3 hours long, 3 sessions are held in the Antenatal period, and 1 in the postnatal period.

Private Courses with Hannah

For a more personalised experience, our private hypnobirthing courses are a great option. These courses offer the same content as the group classes but are tailored to your specific needs and schedule. Choose between live online, in-person (location permitting), or a mix of both.

You can opt for the full 12-hour course or a shorter 6-hour version, ideal for second-time parents or those who have already attended a standard antenatal course and want to incorporate hypnobirthing techniques into their birth plan.

about the Attuned Antenatal Course + Hypnobirthing

Antenatal classes are beneficial for several reasons. One of the main reasons to attend birth preparation classes is to gain information about childbirth process and understanding what to expect—both physically and emotionally—can significantly reduce anxiety and fear. Exploring fear, pain and how the mind works can help you understand how this might affect you during labour, and how you can be proactive in utilising hypnobirthing techniques during the birth. The more prepared you feel, the more confident you are in navigating birth.

Understanding what is happening in the body and mind and being able to manage how you approach birth is invaluable. You will also learn about comfort measures and pain management, breathing exercises, and self-hypnosis and relaxation. With this knowledge you will also be able to understand your birth options and look at decision making aids so that you can make informed decisions about your birth and birth preferences.

The role of your birth partner(s) is also covered so that they are able to understand how best to support you and help you to feel calm. Attuned Yoga and Birth classes approach how to optimise natural labour and birth, but also cover information on interventions so that you can feel prepared for any events that occur during your birth. Information on the immediate post birth period, adjustment to parenthood and the fourth trimester are also covered. Attuned Yoga and Birth classes are tailored to anyone who want to work towards a positive birth experience.

Attuned Yoga and Birth antenatal classes are beneficial for most expectant parents, and prepare you for all births. Classes are interactive and questions are encouraged so that you can receive all the information you need. Whether you are a first time parent learning everything anew, or have already have children and want to refresh your knowledge and revisit hypnobirthing and relaxation techniques, you will find you benefit from Attuned Yoga and Birth antenatal classes.

Group classes can be great for interaction and building community, private classes are great for individualised information and having the course catered to your own needs. If you are planning a caesarean birth there is also an option for you. If you have any medical conditions or a high risk pregnancy you can discuss antenatal classes with your medical provider, and if you require a tailored course please get in touch and we can discuss how to meet your needs.

You can start any time after 16 weeks of pregnancy and up until the immediate period before you give birth. Starting early gives more opportunity to practise and embody breathing, self-hypnosis and relaxation techniques, however it is never too late to start and you will benefit from any information and relaxation practice. Most people start antenatal classes between 20-30 weeks.

You will need access to a device for live-streaming online classes, and a pen and notebook for making notes. That is all! Everything else you require, including a book, parent information pack and affirmation cards will be sent to you, or given to you if you are having in person classes.
